Editor-Tested: Jaguar’s F-Type R I haven’t driven much since moving to New York City years ago, so when Jaguar asked if I wanted hop behind the steering wheel of its new F-Type R sports car, I jumped at the chance. I borrowed the vehicle for 48 hours of pedal-to-the-metal bliss, cruising its 550 horsepower engine up I-95 North to Mystic, Conn. for a fall frolic weekend getaway. Although I went full throttle, thanks to the racecar-like sports mode (revving the engine so it went vroom vroom), my favorite moment was parking it at Stonington Point, Conn. where I enjoyed calming seaside views of the Atlantic Ocean (pictured below). While I had to give back the dream machine by the end of the two-day test drive, I’m savoring the memories by showing off a mani I got inspired my new favorite color—Italian racing red. —Sharon Clott Kanter, InStyle Senior Editor
