What I Wore to the 2015 Golden Globe Awards For one of InStyle's biggest, most spectacular events of the year—the InStyle and Warner Brother's Golden Globes after-party—I knew I wanted a formal, floor-length gown that channeled Old Hollywood, but still felt modern. When I tried on this ruched navy blue Badgley Mischka (just five days before the event!), I knew I found my dress. The fact that it was soft and unbelievably comfortable was a genuine bonus! I was able to move for 12 hours straight without a strap slip or trip up. 
Since the dress was classic, I needed to give it some edge with this large, geometric Issey Miyake envelope clutch (which scored me some compliments at the Golden Globes ceremony from actress Michelle Monaghan!). It fit everything from my phone charger to my trio of pink lip glosses that added a subtle, yet noticeable pop to my look. And instead of a wardrobe change, I opted for a hair change: As the party wound down after midnight, I unpinned my chignon and let down some soft, voluminous waves. — Angelique Serrano, InStyle Beauty Director
