Around the Office: Hair Makeover, Inspired by Francoise Hardy I discovered Francoise Hardy randomly on a rainy day when I was 17 when I happened upon her 1968 album. Since then, I have spent hours Google image searching her in hopes of emulating the French girl hair of my dreams. What is French girl hair, you ask? It's imperfectly polished with a hint of mischief, hairs slightly out of place. Or one-day dirty, lived-in hair, as I prefer to describe it. Finally feeling ready for a drastic hair makeover a la Francoise, I entrusted my locks to Juan Carlos Maciques at Rita Hazan, a man as French fringe-obsessed as I (and the genius behind the hair of Chrissy Teigen, Jennifer Lopez and Patti Hansen).
